Lazio Innova funds the project " Dynamic laser communication in free-space using drones - DD-FSO"
On the 13th of April 2021, as part of the Call “Gruppi di Ricerca 2020” of the POR FESR 2014/2020, Innova Lazio has funded the research project entitled - Dynamic laser communication in free-space using drones - DD-FSO - that aims at demonstrating optical wireless communication using drones as reconfigurable light-deflectors. The project is carried out in a collaboration between the Physics Department (prof. Eugenio Del Re) and the Institute for Complex Systems of the Italian National Research Council- CNR (prof. Claudio Conti). The project aims at exploring a possible strategy to develop ground and airborne optical wifi.
