Non-Gaussianity in Planck, LiteBIRD and Component Separation

I will discuss constraints on primordial non-Gaussianity (PNG) from Planck PR4, which currently provide the strongest limits on scalar PNG, and prospects for future improvements with LiteBIRD. I will also introduce a new SMICA-based formalism that includes higher-order foreground statistics, enabling direct bispectrum estimation from frequency maps and simultaneous recovery of multiple components. This approach improves uncertainty propagation and optimally combines power-spectrum and bispectrum information.
