From Water to Colloidal Water - Celebrating the contributions of Francesco Sciortino to Soft Matter
We invite you to join a two and a half days event in Rome on the 6/7/8 June 2022.
The conference focuses on some of the topics on which Francesco has worked over the years
a) Anomalous properties of Water and amorphous ices
b) Self-assembly and DNA nanotechnology
c) Computational methods and Machine Learning for Soft Matter
d) Glasses and disordered systems
e) Soft Matter of colloids and polymers
In recent years several links between these different topics have been identified, and one of the goals is to highlight common points, promote discussions between the participants, and shed light on future research directions.
