International Day of Women and Girls in Science - Particle Physics Masterclass

The International Day of Women and Girls in Science was established in 2015 by the United Nations to recognize the vital role women and girls play in science and technology. Every year on February 11th, we celebrate this day as an opportunity to promote full and equal access and participation in science for women and girls. On this occasion the INFN researchers working at the Physics Department of the University of Rome La Sapienza, will host a day of activities dedicated to high school girls and interested students, organized in coordination with the international group of the IPPOG particle physics masterclasses at CERN.
