The Scientific Secretariate of the Department is intended to offer support activity to research groups.
It is entrusted with:
- Arrangement of national and international meetings
- Support to the Department project leaders as far as international mobility is concerned (Erasmus Mundus, foreign visitors assistance)
- Support to the coordinators of national and international scientific projects (i.e. EU research contracts, international networks)
- Support to members of the Physics Department engaged in institutional activities such as ministerial, Department or Faculty committees
