Giovanni Rodari, who recently earned his PhD at the Department of Physics, has been awarded the 2025 con.Scienze Prize in the Physics category. The award, promoted by "Conferenza Nazionale dei Presidenti e dei Direttori delle Strutture Universitarie di Scienze e Tecnologie" (con.Scienze), recognizes each year the best doctoral research carried out across scientific disciplines.
The winning dissertation, entitled Hybrid Photonic Technologies for Quantum Information Tasks and conducted at the Quantum Information Lab, presents the development of a photonic platform for the implementation of innovative quantum information protocols based on the manipulation of individual photons.
